Payment for services rendered is expected at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made in a written agreement with the office staff of Meadowlark Dental Care. Pre-payment for services is accepted and credit will be kept on your account until used, or a refund check is issued at your request. Payment options are as follows:
Coinsurance is due after payment is received from your insurance. While Meadowlark Dental Care is happy to help bill your dental insurance, Meadowlark Dental Care is not responsible for non-payment or partial payments from your insurance company. Meadowlark Dental Care cannot guarantee payment in any part by your insurance as the planned document available only to you, as the client, dictates benefits and payments from your insurance. The remaining balance after your insurance has paid in-full, in-part, or issued a non-payment is patient responsibility and will be expected after receipt of an explanation of benefits from your insurance company. If remaining balance cannot be paid in full after the explanation of benefits is received, your balance may be broken up into six monthly payments. Finance charges will accrue starting 60 days after your initial appointment and are based on 10% APR with a minimum charge of $1.00.
Meadowlark Dental Care accepts cash or check payments for the balance due of accounts receivable. For patients without dental insurance, if procedures are paid for in full at the time of service with cash or a check, a 5% discount will apply to the services rendered that day. Personal checks are accepted.
Meadowlark Dental Care accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit or debit card payments for the balance due of accounts receivable. Please note that the 5% discount for payment in full is not given to card payments due to additional processing fees.
Dental expenses can be unexpected and we are happy to help those who have not planned for those additional costs to find appropriate financing. Currently, there are three options we recommend and accept for financing your dental work:
